I decide to do things different with the elevator stiffeners that how I completed the rudder. I used self etching primer to prime the bottom of the stiffeners and the spots on the skin where the stiffeners go. after all the stiffeners get riveted on and the rest of the parts are done I will shoot the rest of the skin and stiffeners with my epoxy primmer.
I used a maroon scotchbrite pad to scuff everything up and then a quick wipe down with some colman fuel and shot some primer......
