Brief Description:  Trim tab and trim motor cover

What started out to be a quick and easy shop day turned on me. I first cut the excess hinge material off with a cut off wheel in the dremel. Then I took the hinge apart and finished up the trimming with may scotchbrite wheel.

I thought that I would drill in the trim motor brackets to the 616 cover. Well....all went well except.....When I went to install the trim cover the bracket were set to far forward and and cover would not set in its spot.....I was going to order a new one but I thought what the heck, Ill just use some scrap and build a new one. I turned out great and I was able to get everything set in correctly.

To finish off the day a filled a pop rivet with some JB Weld after it started to set up I took a razor and ever so carefully trimmed off the excess followed up by a light sanding. Ill get a picture up on a later post.
