Started on the front spar today. started by taperiing the HS814's. I used a hacksaw to get the cuts close then used a disc sander to bring it to the line and then used the scotchbrite wheel to finish it off. Worked pretty well. Then I clamped the piece between the table and a piece of mdf board and bent a little at a time till I hit the 6 degree mark. Everything looked good till I started looking closer. One end of the 810 was about a 1/16 short of the 1/4 inch edge distance. I called vans and they told me to press on. I couldnt handle it and decided to order a new piece and do it over.
