I rechecked all of the electrical systems, made a few final connections, then took the big plunge and powered up the electrical system. I have installed a battery contactor at the battery. The contactor worked as intended.
I checked most of the electrical systems, omitting the engine ignition and starter for the time being. I checked the master buss, then the avionics buss, the instrument lights, the engine instruments, the GPS power supply, the fuel pump, the trim, the VHF radio and headset jacks, then the transponder. All worked as intended
