I installed the trim tab onto the horizontal elevator. I had to do quite a bit of fitting including reaming the pre-drilled holes in the welded tabs on the elevator frame, removing paint and primer from the mid-tab support fitting etc. The manual instructions were not clear regarding safety-wiring the bolts located at either end of the trim tab. I posted a message on the Yahoo group and got a quick reply from John Wade (john300exc) who had taken a photo of the safety wire method the factory used on the demo plane. He emailed the photo to me and I copied the factory method.
