This afternoon I finished masking the fuselage then sprayed the green stripe on the fuselage. The green "Z" will get a grey shadow in the next couple of days. The tail will have a grey stripe to match the wing-tips.
I applied two full coats of the paint after misting on a very light initial coat. The first photo depicts the mist coat.
After waiting several hours I removed the masking tape. All came out fairly well, but I will have a couple of bleed-unders to touch-up eventually.
