Sean and I sanded the first coat of primer on the fuselage. As we started to sand it quickly became apparent that the stands and brackets were not well suited to the painting task. The mounting hardware is fairly light due to the available locations on the fuselage. After several attempts at bracing, we removed the fuselage from the stands and placed it on low work horses (home-made drywalling horses, very sturdy and short).
