The battery cables need to have heavy-duty connectors crimped or swaged onto either end. There are three cables, one from the positive battery post to the contactor, one from the contactor to the starter solonoid, and one from the negative battery post to the frame/ground. I am also using a section of 4ga cable as a primary ground connector from the engine to the airframe.
I am taking the cables to an A&P/IA to have the connectors attached. I laid out all the cable runs and cut sections to length.
