I cut the back plate for the Map Box using a hack saw to achieve straight cuts. First I cut out an approximate size for the back of the Box (large piece difficult to cut with hack saw), then trimmed it down to the contour of the back end of the Map Box. It took almost two hours, but it is a perfect fit. Tomorrow I will drill the rivet holes and trim along the corners to match the box contours.
