Mark the center of the 2’x2’x3/4” plywood base, place the wing jack centering on this point and drill the holes into the plywood thru the jack bolt holes drilled earlier. Remove the jack and countersink the bolt holes on the bottom side of the base. Install the jack on the base using 3 bolts. Install the second jack on its base the same way as the first jack. Using a ½”x1/8” piece of aluminum strip form the first brace clamp (see picture). I used the round shaft of the jack to form the clamp. This was time consuming and difficult job because of the stiffness of the 1/8” thick aluminum strip. The clamp will be secured with a AN3 bolt.
