To have easily accessible storage space I decided to put a pegboard on the back top side of one of my work benches. I cut 5 2x2x6 lumber from some 2x4x8 I had in my woodworking shop. I fastened these to the back of the bench so they reach up approximately 4' above the surface of the bench. I then fasened the pegboard to this support. Looks really good and accessible.
