The air inlet hole was fitted with 3 layers of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. I pre-soaked the fiberglass cloth with resin and squized out all excess resin between some plastic sheets. Each piece was cut to size for the hole. This way once I layed in the fiberglass resin mix material everything stayed in place. I didnot have to used plastic balloon as suggested. This was quite time consuming and messy. We are going to Canada this weeked for 10 days so it will have time to dry.
