To close the opening on the back side of the verical stabilizer tip I cut a 1/2" foam to fit the shape of the opening. I will use this foam as a backing to lay fiberglass closing the opening on the tip. Since the fit was pretty tight I did not glue in the foam. After the fiberglass set up I will chip out the foam and add additional fiberglass enforcement. Drill the screw holes to #28. Fit the pltenuts using a special tool and drill the rivet holes for the platenuts to #40. Counter sink the screw holes and the rivet holes.
