This has been going on since the 18th od December off and on. I decided to attach the map box to the instrument panel with platenuts. I use ahinge on the door and this is also attached with platenuts. It seems unreasonable but fitting cheking and refitting took a long time. The result can be seen on the attached pictures. What remains is to clean up everything and paint both the mapbox and the panel.
