Fit the C-653 Cover Strip on the canopy. Marked the center line on the cover strip using a home made center marker (drilled 3 holes equal distance in an aluminum strip, threaded the two outside holes, put two crews into these holes and used the center hole to mark my center points - the first 3 holes did not come out right). The Canopy Strip is a good 5" longer than needed, so I first marked the location of the latch tube on the middle line and drilled the 11/16". It was a perfect fit. Then took the canopy off the frame, placed it upside down on the padded work bench, aligned the cover strip so the canopy holes mached the maked center line and using shot bags and scrap wood pieces mach drilled the canopy strip to the canopy. Had to hold the canopy, center strip, wood, shot bag tight with my fingers during drilling. It turned out gread. More fitting and a slight adjustment on the forward bow.
