Brief Description:  Main Wheels and Brakes

Split the wheels by removing the bolts holding the wheel halves together. Dusted the inside of the tires and the inner tubes with talcum powder then installed the tires and the inner tubes on one half of the split wheels with the small circlular cutout. The red dot on the tire was next to the valve stem of the inner tubes and the valve stem and washer fit in the small circular cutout on the wheel halves. Then I put the two wheel halves together making sure that the inner tubes are not pinched between the wheel halves. One technique that I used was listening to a clear clicking sound between the wheel halves as I pushed them together. Also slightly inflated the inner tube which gave a comfortable clearence between the inner tube and the wheels. Bolted the wheel halves together using the manufacturer's bolt torque specification (90 in.-lbs). Slowly inflated the tire to 30 psi then deflated and inflated a couple more times. Finally inflated the tires to 25 psi. Everything is looking great and the pressure is holding at 25 psi.
