Cleco Bottom Rib to R-902 Spar. Enlarge hole in center of the forward flange of Bottom Rib to 3/8. Fabricate R-917 Shim. Fasten the R-405PD rudder horn on the rudder spar and final drill the four holes through the upper edge of the rudder horn to #30. Radius the top of the rudder horn to make good fit with the bottom rib flange. Cleco the bottom rib and rudder horn to the rudder spar. Slide the R-917 shim into place between the rudder spar and rudder horn and drill to #30. Cleco R-606PP, R-607PP and R-608PP reinforcement plates on rudder spar as per plans. Trim the excess material from R-710 rudder brace and fit between rudder horn and bottom rib and drill to #30. Flute the tip rib and counterbalance rib. Cleco the tip rib and the counterbalance rib to the top of the spar and drill to #30. Cleco counterbalance skin to tip rib and counterbalance rib and match drill to #40.
