Continued fitting the fairing on the left wing. Carefully measured the position of the fairing on the fuel tank. It looks I will have slightly less than a 1/4" edge distance on the tank skin. I was able to maintain this distance for all the screw holes. To install the fairing for edge distance measurement, I clecoed on the fairing to the pre-punched wing skin on the top and to the bottom tank screw locations, plus one pre punched hole on the bottom flange of the inboard wing skin rib, close to the tank. This gave me a perfect fit. Drilled out all the holes to #12 for the #8 plate nuts. Started counter sinking the top skin hole locations. Ran out of battery power on all 3 drills, but it was time to quit.
