Before installing the T-408 cover plate on the fuel tank I decided to check the mounting screws if they are the proper length. Lucky for me I found that the platenuts were defective on both tanks. I was able to screw them in with my fingers. I talked to VANS (Scott) and they suggested that I will have to replace all of them. They will send me a new supply and some proseal.
