Wire the Ray Allen position sensor to the Grand Rapids EIS. It was a really tough job because of space limitations. We used the AUX 3 Position on Connector A to give position data to the EIS from the position sensor. We pulled the 4.8 V from pin 25 on Connector A through a 1K ohm resistor. Found a good ground at the sensor location (checked it with ohm meter). Programmed the EIS and EFIS: Set EIS AUX 3 to Flap, Set AUX 3 to SF=250, OFF=0 EFIS Sport should show AUX 3 as Flap. Then in general setup, do flap calibration for UP & DOWN position. Flap should show in fixed area where the G meter (etc.) was. We had a successful setup.
