We found some problems with the #2 cylinder. It was rough and missing. We checked magneto to engine timing. LH mag. = 25.0 deg., RH mag. = 25.25. Deg... The valve train checked good. Run compression check on the #2 cylinder cold; reads 78/80. Ignition leads checked good. We removed all spark plugs for cleaning by Terry at the shop (beautiful job). Reinstalled spark plugs and run the engine. No problems this time; the trouble was the spark plug. I had a big sigh. Installed pop rivets under pilot and co-pilot seats. Continued overall mechanical checking of the airplane.
