The upper cover plate had no pre-drilled screw holes for mounting. I had to transfer the location of the platenut holes in the frame to the exact location on the cover plate, lining everything up in all four directions. First I thought this will be an impossible task. As luck would have it the holes on lower plate lined up perfectly with the platenut hole on the frame and produced a square fit. At this point all I had to do is to transfer the mounting holes from the lower plate to the upper plate lining up at the top edge. First I transferred the holes to a disposable plate and then transferred the holes to the upper cover plate. I didn’t want to risk widening the mounting hole in the lower plate. It came out a perfect square fit (the third picture shows how good the fit is). Both plates are primed, but will have to be painted the same color as the rest of the panel.
