Brief Description:  Service Bulletin 14-12-22

Raise the nose wheel of the airplane off the ground by putting the four lead shot bags on two sides of the horizontal stabilizer. Each side had two 25 pound bags. The tail tie down ring was lined up with the jack cradle at a predetermined height, thus raising the nose to a good working height. Removed the bolt that holds the stop flange on the nose gear. At the same time loosen the large nut at the end of the nose gear. Turn the nose stop flange in a forward position as per instructions. Reinstall hardware and set the nose wheel breakout force to approximately 22 pounds. I drilled the holes for the cotter pin and installed MS24665-359 cotter pin.
