Brief Description: Tape canopy for fibergassing, misc.
I found a small gap on the front lower side of the windscreen that could use a hold down clip and decided to make one (bend, drill and paint). Install clip. I have a hard time visualizing the lower fiberglass layout along the roll bar where it meets the fuselage. Bob came out to the hangar and we took some pictures of his layout. This really helped me. I found I have to file off the canopy forward edge to have a larger gap between the canopy and the windscreen (1/16"). Finally it really looks good. Install black pipe tape over the canopy edge where the fiberglass trim overlaps the canopy.
