This morning we worked with Bob Eggelston on checking the static lines. It was almost impossible to keep it leak free. We decided to start installing the instruments one at a time. Finally it was obious that the culprit was the Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI) at the end of the line. When we took the VSI off line everything held steady. I will have to talk to VANS to find out what I can do to hook up this instrument. The EFIS actually give me this information, but I sure would like to keep this instrument. Tomorrow go to pitot check.
