Because I am concerned with the top forward skin blocking the repair of electrical problems I decided to relocate to a more accessible location (behind the instrument panel) the Angle of Attack CPU and the Dimmer controller. Previously I installed these behind the firewall bulkhead on one of the forward fuselage ribs (AOA CPU onF-7107-R and Dimmer controller on F-7107-L). Today I moved the AOA CPU to the F-7105-L Outboard sub panel behind the left instrument panel. This involved moving The CPU and all the wires and hoses. Because I made both the right and left instrument panels easili removable this change will give access to this instrument. I also started to rewire the Dimmer controller by removing the connector and moving all the wires behind the instrument panel and forward of the centre sub panel.Tomorrow I will install the Dimmer controller and reconnect the wires to the 9 pin plug. The Dimmer controller will be installed behind the outboard sub panel on the F-7107-R Fuselage rib. I will be able to access this by removing the right instrument panel.
