After reinstalling the fairing on the empennage it is obvious it does not fit well on the left side between the fairing and the vertical stabilizer. There is quite a bit of waviness between the two when clecoed together. At Russ Kumtz's suggestion I decided to fiberglass this part of the fairing by laying down 4 layers of fiberglass along the left upper edge of the fairing and then clecoeing back the fairing on the empennage and let the fiberglass set up overnight. The idea is that it will stiffen and staraighten this edge so that the waviness will disappear. Used packing tape and mold release on the vertical stabilizer. I also dipped each cleco into petroleum jelly.
