Remove the fairing from the empennage and shape the newly installed fiberglass in a nice symmetrical shape and applied a coat of PolyFiber Super Fill. Used a coaxial cable to get a rough shape and then defined a reference line across the fairing. I measured equal distances on both side of the fairing from the reference line to refine the contour. Cut along the contour line. These operations were done over an entire day to give time for the PolyFiber coat to dry. (see pictures)
