A whole days work.To get the wing in a possible test-mounting position, most of the interior in my garage has to be moved around and stored away. This gave me also an oppertunity to clean up and throw away. I start to fabricate 2 temporary benches to place the wing on. I redrilled wing installation holes to 6 mm and slipped main spar into fuselage. Not an easy task...Anyway with wing halfway in I marked up position for fuel-inlet tube on fuselage side. Backed wing out again and drilled hole in side skin. I think the sideskin is similar with US 650 kit, but on Italian kit the fuel-tube has another position. There will be two holes now. With wing back in position again I start to align holed in mainspar. I found Phillips screwdriver no 1 and 2 very useful as tools. I drilled holes to 6,5 mm, but will wait until booth wings are ready before I start drilling boltholes to final size. Have to buy a 5/16 reamer also. Removed wing. I fabricated a temporary wooden rack to hold the wing in a secure manner, and stored it aside. Moved work-bench back again and picked up left wing.
