Overlaid and squared up both blanks, one on top of other Center punched all rib rivet hole locations Drilled all rib rivet holes to 3/32". Did not mark or drill the hinge rivet line. Used snips and Olfa knife to trim the top and bottom inboard skin profiles
Attempted to bend on the brake but the 6' length meant I had to remove 3 bolts from the top angle iron which resulted in bowing (up and back) of the angle when attempting the bend.
I spoke with Terry Pender some time back about his CH650 project and he informed me that EAA Chapter 384 in Brighton has a long bending brake that he used. Since Brighton Airport and the Chapter are along my work commute I am going to look into becoming a member there. Hopefully they can help with these long bends. This will be really important when I get to the wing spars.
