Well, for some reason my long time, trusty Sony 4.1 Megapixel Cybershot decided to start eating batteries. Even with set of new AA alkalines I could not get it to stay powered.
Used my iPhone to take this pic. Would like to have a camera more dedicated to this task so will check around with family, friends and internet for an older one that will do the job.
Deburred all of the aileron components - except the skins. Cleaned components with abrasive pad and Simple Green in the laundry room wash tub. Laid parts on work bench and applied coat of Tempo Aviation Zinc Phosphate Primer. Wore a respirator for protection but the fumes from that stuff are very strong. Had to open the garage door for a few minutes to purge the air. This would be a much easier job in the summer time.
