Picked up my first sheet of 4' X 12" X 0.025" 60601-T6 aluminum from Trident at lunch time today. There were a couple of small creases so they gave me a break on price from $75 to $60.
This evening I rounded the corners of the bend plate as a safety measure to reduce the risk of someone (including me) from accidentally tearing their clothes or cutting their skin. Then my daughter helped me paint all of the brake parts. I'm using flat white with the hopes that it will provide good contrast to the bend lines enabling accurate bends. Almost ready to bend metal!
