Today, I uncleco'd the flap and trimmed the piano hinge to length. I then began investigating pin retention options fo the piano hinge. I decided to go with the center retention option as this allows for much easier removal of the flap for maintenance. I removed 4 links in the hinge and placed a plate nut in the center of the spar. I used some of the eccess hinge to create to retention block that will later attach to the plate nut screw. I also deburred all of the holes on the bottom skin and countersunk the bottom holes in the main flap spar.
