Brief Description: Wing Tie Down's Complete, Beginning Rear Spar
Today, I fabricated the second wing tie down assembly. Once complete, I primed the assembly and riveted the assembly together. While the primer was drying, I drilled the hole for the stall warning wire in the left spar and began working on the rear spar. I trimmed the reinforcement plates per the plans, and finished all the edges. I then drilled all holes in the second set of reinforcement plates and cut the hole for the aileron push rod. I began the push rod hole by drilling two large holes with the unibit, and then drilled several small holes along the edges. I then finished the inside of the hole with a small file and 400 grit sand paper.
