Today, I built a device to bend the trailing edge of the elevators. I used two 2x8's and 5 door hinges. Once complete, I bent the trailing edge of the elevators. I then fluted the ribs until they were straight, and drilled the counter balance to the ribs. I then cleco'd together and drilled all holes of the understructure. I then attached the elevator horns. I then drilled the skin to the understructure, drilled, deburred, and dimpled all holes. I machine countersinked the counterbalance holes. I then beveled the edges of the skin where overlap occurs. I then primed all non-alclad parts of the understructure.
