Today, I match drilled the steel counterweight to the leading skin. I then removed the steel tubing and counter sunk the holes. I then dimpled the leading wing skins using the counter sunk holes as the female dimple die. I then smoothed the cut edges using a rotary grinder and sandpaper. I then cleaned the steel using mineral spirits and roughed the edges using 200 grit sandpaper. I then cleaned the steel again with mineral spirits. After the mineral spirits dried, I primed the steel pipe inside and out. I then prepped the leading ribs and later primed them.
