I realized that I forgot to put RTV on the stiffeners for the right elevator. I made an RTV injector using a big tube of RTV and a caulking gun, then clamping a length of copper tube to it to make an RTV injector. I got the RTV placed on all but one stiffener. I called Van’s and they said the RTV idea was added back when they made the skins out of lighter aluminum. It’s never been really tested and probably doesn’t do anything anyway. Well, it's there now anyway.
