Brief Description:  Rudder cables

During the installation of the rudder cables I decided to insert a smaller snap bushing inside the snap bushings for the rudder cables. I referenced the VAF forums and the RVator Fifth Issue 2006, page 7 idea for inserting the smaller snap bushing. I ordered the SB437-4 to go inside the SB625-7 illustrated there. Unfortunately, the RV-8 uses a SB625-8 which is too large for the SB437-4 to snap into. Initially I was going to forget about the smaller bushing, but changed my mind and ordered some SB500-4 bushings to fit inside. Today I drilled out the temp. rivets in the floorboards, removed them and installed the SB500-4 snap bushings, then reinstalled the floorboards with the temp. rivets in the rear corners. Installed WD-806 flap weldment to floor. Installed Electric Flap actuator. The extended actuator jackscrew rubbed on the inboard edge of hole through the left arm rest. I enlarged the hole for a better fit. I drilled holes in the A-406 bracket. Noticed as the flap actuator retracted and the Flap Weldment came up, the top of the flap actuator pushed outward 1/2 inch.
