Brief Description: Preparing to close the left fuel tank
Tonight all I did was cleco the rear tank baffle onto the tank attach brackets and label them so that I can reset them in the correct orientation when they are finally riveted to the tank. I also deburred the rivet holes on the brackets. I spent some time mulling over the plans to prepare for the all-important closure of the fuel tank. I do not want to mess it up and end up with a leak. Before I can actually rivet the tank closed, I will have to check the resistance of the Stewart Warner fuel guage sender. I called my electronic whiz brother in law, Robby Hawthorne and he will slide by sometime this week with a Volt Ohm Meter.
