Jim Anderson came over and we had a great time. First, he helped me with some crown moulding on some bookshelves, then he and I worked on Miss Vick.We started by fabricating the lower support arms for the wing jig. Then we checked the left wing skeleton for sag and twist. We then clecoed the wing skins on the left wing. Three jillion clecoes and two sore wrists later, we had the skins fastened to the skeleton. We then drilled out the holes in the top of the left wing. Jim reamed the holes with my new reamer and I reset the clecoes as he went along. When all the holes were reamed, we marked where the clecoes had been and then moved them over one hole. Jim then reamed the marked holes. I know there is still a lot of work to do, but the left wing looks great. It was great to work with Jim. He has been my best friend for 28 years.Next, I have to ream out the holes on the bottom of the left wing and do all the same for the right wing.
