Brief Description: Finishing wing jig and placing left wing in it
I went to Home Depot and purchased two 8' sections of aluminum angle to fabricate the braces for the upper arm of the wing jig and the lower arm. I cut the angle braces to size and then installed them on the upper wing jig arms so that they will remain level when the wings are on them.I cut a notch in the upper arm on the wing tip side to provide for clearance when the wing skins overhang the tip rib.To compensate for the wing sag, I fashioned an old carrige bolt and nut into a jack screw by drilling a hole in the shop stool seat and placing the bolt in there. The nut and a large washer keep the bolt from falling through the hole and provide height adjustment. It works just right.
