Brief Description: Riveted left wing ribs to spars
Another big day. I clecoed the now primed ribs onto the left main and rear spars. Then I decided to uncleco the ribs from the rear spar to facilitate moving the ribs around when riveting them to the main spar. The rivets are driven with the rivet gun. This is the first time I have used the gun in a few months. It felt good. The rivets went in well. I did not have to drill out any bad rivets. Vicki had forgotten how much racket the rivet gun makes. It disturbed her while watching the football game, but she was cool about it.The ribs were riveted to the rear spar with the pneumatic squeezer.Next, the left wing will go into the jig while I assemble the right wing skeleton.
