Brief Description: Began riveting right wing bottom skin
Today I went on line at Vansairforce.net and asked fellow builders what I should do about the air inlet underneath the right wing. There is a plastic molded piece that fits under the inlet to divert cooling air to the passenger. Other bloggers stated that it is sufficient to glue the plastic piece on with proseal and that no rivets are needed. That can be accomplished after riveting the bottom wing skin on. However, before doing that, I scuffed the area that the plastic piece will be bonded to so that the proseal will adhere better. I then deburred all of the holes for the wiring conduit, vacuumed out the wing bays and finally clecoed on the inboard wing skin. I was able to rived the two most inboard wing ribs before calling it a night.
