Brief Description:  Solo riveting on the bottom left wing skin

Sam Beale had to go to Myrtle Beach for business today and he called me in the late afternoon to tell me that he could not make it to the shop tonight to help with riveting. I decided to see if I could slam the rivets solo. Using some telephone wire, I wired the wing skin up to the floor joists above the work table. This allowed me to reach in to buck most of the rivets. By being careful, I could reach all of the rivets with the bucking bar. It was tough, but going slowly and methodically helped to minimize mistakes. I managed to finish all but the last 2 bays (and the middle row of rivets, which the plans says to save for last).
