Brief Description: Sealed and riveted the stiffeners, drain flange an
It was a very melancholy day for me so it felt good to get into the shop to divert my mind. I prepared the right tank for the first proseal session by cleaning all of the surfaces and placing the rivets into the tank skin with riveters tape. I then mixed my proseal (the last of the first quart; I had to start on the new quart I purchased from Vans) and back riveted the stiffeners. I then back riveted the fuel filler flange and finished up by squeezing the rivets for the drain flange. Cleanup was much easier since I used copious amounts of tape to isolate only those areas to receive proseal. I will now wait a few days for the proseal to cure before starting on the ribs.
