Brief Description:  Installed throttle and fuel selector valve console

I recently ordered some stainless steel screws and some #10 nutplates from Microfasteners, Inc. The screws have a button head with an allen key drive. I bought them so that they would not strip out as badly as the phillips head screws that came with the kit. I used the nutplates on the fuel selector valve so that I could install in in the console. I then began installing the fuel selector valve and throttle consoles with the new screws. Almost immediately, two of the screws stripped out. Sheesh! Clearly, this ain't going to work. Next week, I will call Microfasteners and get their opinion on the right screws to use. Maybe a torx screw will work better. Also, we got a new family member this weekend. Our youngest son, Mark, brought home a mutt puppie that needed a home. Ours will be it until he gets a new apartment that allows dogs next August. It's truly like having a new baby, except it doesn't wear diapers and it pees on the floor. Anyway, he is kind of cute and his name is Bear. I introduced him to Miss Vick (the airplane, not the wife) and he seemed suitably impressed.
