Tonight I worked on the rudder pedal assembly. First, I smoothed the edges of the rudder pedals themselves (the flat welded aluminum pieces at the top of Image 1). Their edges were very rough. Then, I assembled the pedals and the brake master cylinders to the assembly with clevis bolts. I then drilled for the bolts which hold the plastic guide blocks to the bottom outside of the assembly. Once everything was together, I bolted and clecoed the whole assembly onto the floor and hooked up the rudder cables. Neat.
