Brief Description: Finished battery tray and side cockpit covers
Tonight all I did was debur and prime the cockpit aft side skins and debur, prime and rivet the battery tray. These photos look suspiciously similar to those taken last night, only now the parts are all finished and primed. Now, I have to think about paint for the interior cockpit area as well as high temperature paint for the battery tray. I intend to use rattle can paint. The Vans Airforce site bloggers say that Krylon and Rustoleum look good and wear well. I will buy cans of each brand and paint some test strips to see which ones work well.
