Brief Description: Installed miscellaneous support angles
Tonight I spend a lot of time looking at the plans and trying to figure out just how some of the support angles in the rear fuselage and in the cockpit floor area fit into the puzzle. I am not the greatest at reading blueprints. Sometimes I could just scream for an exploded view so that I can see how things fit together. I think they draw the plans as a challenge for the unwary. Finally, I gave up and went upstairs to watch my George Orndorf construction video. That helped a lot. I finally got the hang of things and went back down into the basement to make metal shavings. Firts, I drilled and riveted two support angles to bulkheads in the aft section of the fuselage. Then, I started on the floor support angles for the cockpit area. I drilled the center support angle and then installed two nutplates to hold the angle and the floor skin.
