Brief Description: The Fuselage comes out of the jig and we have a ca
What a great night! Sam Beale came over and we set the last few rivets in the fuselage skins and we installed the forward top cross brace. Then, it came time to pull the fuselage out of the jig. We unclamped and unscrewed everything and cleared out a space in the shop to put the upright fuselage. Then, Sam and I screwed on the temporary wheels to the plywood spar spacer stubs. I called Vicki and Mark down to help wield the aluminum and we all carefully lifted the fuselage out of the jig and manuvered it right side up on the floor. At this stage it looks like a big canoe. This is a real benchmark day. I feel like the fuselage is over half finished.
